Savannah Greene has been described as a “soaring virtuoso” soprano with a voice that is “impressive, musical” and “hauntingly beautiful”. Savannah started the 2024 season by singing in the annual New Years Eve’s Gala at the esteemed performance hall, Aula Leopoldina in Wrocław, Poland (where musicians such as Brahms, Paganini, and Chopin have performed). In December, Savannah advanced as a Finalist in the International Artists Competition in Vienna, Austria. Earlier in the fall, she made her European Debut as La Contessa in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Scharbeutz, Germany. Last summer, she performed in A Fork in the Road, a special recital in Los Angeles with Timothy León. This recital highlighted compositions by Wagner, Strauss, Bach, and Berg, and was later nominated for Best Vocal Recital of 2023 in the SFCV Audience Choice Awards. In June, Savannah will perform the role of Madame Lidoine in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites with Musik für Musik in Berlin. Savannah is also currently preparing the role of Elle in Poulenc’s complex one-woman opera, La Voix Humaine, to be performed with Pacific Opera Project’s Artist Recital Series in August 2024. Last season, Savannah was featured as a Soloist in several of Mozart’s Masses including Mass in G Major, The Sparrow Mass, and Coronation Mass. Next season, Savannah will sing as an auxiliary staff singer in esteemed companies: Opera Frankfurt and The Los Angeles Master Chorale.

During the 2022-2023 season, Savannah made her debut with several Los Angeles companies including Pacific Opera Project, where she sang Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore. She also became a staff singer in Pacific Chorale and a Grant Recipient with The Opera Buffs. She performed the lead role of Catherine Sloper in the live premiere of the new opera, Washington Square by Felix Jarrar, with the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Last April, Savannah sang as the Soprano Soloist in Pergolesi’s expansive Stabat Mater. Earlier in the season, Savannah was honored to win 2nd place in the San Francisco Innovative Music Competition and she also advanced as a semi-finalist in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition and the Premiere Opera Foundation International Vocal Competition in NYC. In October 2021, Savannah performed music from Rusalka, Così Fan Tutte, and the polish opera Hrabina in “Masks”, a Pandemic inspired concert with Hub City Opera in New Jersey. In the fall of 2021, Savannah became a Soprano Staff Singer in the Long Beach Camerata Singers and in March, she was featured as the Soprano Soloist in Northern Lights, a concert that showcased music by Ola Gjeilo. In April 2021, Savannah debuted the role of The Narrator in the world premiere of Felix Jarrar’s “The Tell Tale Heart”, a contemporary opera based on Edgar Allen Poe’s classic short story.

Days before the pandemic began in March 2020, Savannah performed the role of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi with Regina Opera and sang as the Soprano Soloist in Mendelssohn’s “Hör' mein Bitten” with RCB’s Oratorio Series. In 2019, she performed the role of 2nd Pâtre in Amore Opera’s production of Dinorah and was the the Soprano Soloist in Brahms’ Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang and Bach’s Gott der Herr ist Sonn und Schild with the Oratorio Society of New Jersey.  During her time of living in NYC, Savannah performed with the trio “Blue Dynamic”, an Opera-Jazz fusion group where she and her colleagues composed and arranged pieces that fused aspects of the two genres.  

In the summer of 2018, she was a young artist at Teatro Nuovo Music Festival where she prepared the role of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte. She also performed with the opera band, The Avanti Singers, where she did a series of concerts around The East Coast. In the summer of 2017, she was the guest opera soloist at the well known and celebrated art festival, The Pageant of the Masters, in Laguna Beach, California where she sang 60 nights in a row with full orchestra for 2800 people. In 2016, she performed the role of Mary Warren in Miami Music Festival’s production of The Crucible. Savannah was born and raised in Los Angeles, lived in New York City from 2016-2020, and now resides in Berlin, Germany.
